The following pictures are taken of a log home that was built in Portola Valley, close to my home in Silicon Valley. This home was very tastefully done, and I was lucky to find a log home style I was looking at in the area, to see it in person. This home was built on 10 acres up at the top of Alpine Road, overlooking Silicon Valley.

I was very impressed by the look created with the riverstone, and hope to build a similar design of using a conventional studded floor on the bottom and a log shell on top. The riverstone paths created around the home also added to the wonderful setting this home was placed in.
